Population of Mongolia increased by 1.8% in 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - The population of Mongolia increased to 3,364,000 people in 2020 growing 1.8 percent from the previous year, according to the country's National Statistics Office. Mongolian population was 3.364 million at the end of last year after growing by 62,339 people annually.
The birth rate was 23.2 per 1,000 and the mortality rate was 4.8 in 2020.
Mongolia, one of the least populated countries in the world, has a total area of 1,564,116 square kilometers.
