Kyrgyzstan receives Pfizer coronavirus vaccine for study

AKIPRESS.COM - Coronavirus vaccine arrived in Kyrgyzstan for study, Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev told a press briefing today.
This is the vaccine developed by Pfizer, he said.
"There are certain requirements, we need to study all aspects. We should provide conditions for storage of vaccine at -70°C, we can't ensure this yet. To obtain the vaccine, we need to consider all conditions," the Deputy Health Minister said.
The Deputy Health Minister said there are more than 200 vaccine candidates in the world. Around 60 finished clinical trials and 150 continue trials, he said.
Russia is developing coronavirus vaccines as well. Clinical trials finished for two vaccines. "We are holding talks to receive these vaccines," he said.
While talking about vaccination Usenbayev said medical workers in COVID-19 red zones, teachers and social workers will be vaccinated first.
