35,000 migrant workers from Kyrgyzstan work in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - 35,000 citizens of Kyrgyzstan work in Kazakhstan, State Migration Service Vice Chairman Samat Toktobolotov said in Parliament of Kyrgyzstan today.
When asked what agencies of Kyrgyzstan serve these 35,000 migrant workers, Samat Toktobolotov said there is Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Nur-Sultan and General Consulate in Almaty. Offices of the State Migration Service are absent in Kazakhstan, he said.
Lawmakers suggested opening of the office of the State Migration Service of Kyrgyzstan in Kazakhstan to provide necessary assistance to migrant workers.
