It would be very hard to control coronavirus, if children contract new COVID-19 variant in Kyrgyzstan - Health Minister

AKIPRESS.COM - In case children in Kyrgyzstan contract new variant of coronavirus infection, it would be very hard to control coronavirus, Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said.
Bishkek remains on the first place in number of daily coronavirus cases. Risks of contraction of coronavirus grow with reopening of public schools and kindergartents, the Minister said.
"Children will be communicating without respect of precautionary measures. The nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment and local authorities need to make decision on when and how to reopen educational institutions," the Health Minister said.
