Member of Kyrgyz parliament Duishon Torokulov detained by National Security Committee

AKIPRESS.COM - Member of Kyrgyz parliament Duishon Torokulov was detained on suspicion of corruption, the National Security Committee said on January 16. Torokulov was detained in Osh on January 15. Additionally, National Security Committee officers and Interior Ministry operatives detained Jantai Shamenov, another member of the criminal group, in Chui region.
The Pervomai district court sent Torokulov to the National Security Committee detention facility for two months and Shamenov to the temporary detention facility.
The investigation is under way.
