The new ministers of the national economy, as well as of labor and social protection of the population, Aset Irgaliyev and Serik Shapkenov, were sworn in.
The meeting reviewed the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the country.
Ministers of Healthcare Alexey Tsoy, Minister of Internal Affairs Yerlan Turgumbayev, Minister of Information and Social Development Aida Balayeva, Akim of Nur-Sultan Altay Kulginov, Akim of Pavlodar Region Abylkair Skakov, Akim of Akmola Region Yermek Marzhikpayev, Akim of Kostanay Region Archimed Mukhambetov, Akim of Atyrau Region Makhambet Dosmukhambetov.
Six regions of Kazakhstan are in the "red zone" in terms of the spread of Covid-19: Akmola, Atyrau, Kostanay, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan regions and the city of Nur-Sultan. In the "yellow zone" - West Kazakhstan, Almaty and Karaganda regions. The virus reproductive rate in the republic is 1.1. The workload of infectious beds is 32%, of intensive care beds - 23%.
The domestic vaccine QazCovid-in is undergoing phase III clinical trials (preliminary efficiency - 96%).
The Sputnik V vaccine is being certified. The construction of a biopharmaceutical plant for the production of vaccines with the GMP standard is underway. "Today the most important task is to organize mass vaccination of the population," Mamin said.
The head of government instructed the Ministry of Healthcare, together with akimats, to ensure the readiness of medical organizations for the start of the mass vaccination of the population by Sputnik V from Feb. 1.
The prime minister instructed the regional akims to prepare a plan of preventive measures to restrict in case of a worsening of the epidemiological situation, to ensure strict compliance by the population and business entities with the established sanitary standards, to audit stocks of personal protective equipment and antioxidants in infectious hospitals and primary health care organizations within a week. The Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with akimats, was instructed to strengthen the work of monitoring groups, together with the Ministry of Information - to strengthen explanatory work.
