Uzbekistan to vaccinate medical workers and elderly people against coronavirus first

AKIPRESS.COM - Medical workers and elderly people will be vaccinated against coronavirus infection with Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, which is expected to arrive in the country in near time.
Coronavirus vaccination will be voluntary.
Uzbekistan ordered 100,000 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine. This would be enough for vaccination of 50,000 people.
The population of Uzbekistan exceeds 34.5 million. Uzbek authorities plan to vaccinate up to 60% of population against COVID-19 by June 2021.
