AKIPRESS.COM - U.S. President Joe Biden signed 17 executive orders reversing Trump policies.
One of the executive orders signed Wednesday is on immigration. The executive order that restricted migration and entry into the U.S. for Kyrgyz nationals and other Muslim nations was signed in January 2020 and went into effect in February 2020.
U.S. Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Donald Lu attributed his administration's decision to the lack of biometric passports. However, there are more than 80 countries in the world that have not yet introduced biometric passports.
