Sadyr Japarov steps down as Prime Minister, Kyrgyz government resigns

AKIPRESS.COM - Acting President and Parliament Speaker Talant Mamytov has signed the order on termination of powers of the Prime Minister and the government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The order was signed in connection with official publication of the early presidential election results by the Central Election Commission on January 20 and resignation tendered by Sadyr Japarov from Prime Minister's post.
Sadyr Japarov is relinquished of his Prime Minister's duties. The government is declared resigned.
The government members will continue performing their duties until formation of a new government.
Acting First Deputy Prime Minister Artem Novikov will perform Prime Minister's duties until formation of a new government.
