Central Election Commission invalidates 8,000 ballots cast in Kyrgyzstan's referendum on governance model

AKIPRESS.COM - The Central Election Commission has canceled voting results at 10 polling stations in the referendum on the system of government, Central Election Commission Chair Nurjan Shaildabekova told a press conference today.
8,043 people received ballots at those polling stations.
6,838 of annulled votes were for the presidential model of governance.
633 votes were for parliamentary system.
439 of invalidated ballots were against both systems.
