Tajikistan has won COVID-19 battle - Rahmon

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has announced victory in COVID-19 battle in the country.
"There is no coronavirus in Tajikistan now. It was entirely destroyed," Rahmon said in his address to the Parliament.
Yet, precationary measures should be still respected, he said.
"Over 7,000 hospital beds for coronavirus patients were organized in response to COVID-19 pandemic, served by 5,400 medical workers," Rahmon said.
According to the Ministry of Health, Tajikistan has not recorded new coronavirus cases for the past 15 days.
