9 coronavirus cases registered among school students in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - Nine coronavirus cases were registered among school students in Bishkek. 7 of them studied remotely and 2 attended school, vice mayor Aijan Chynybaeva said at the meeting of the Bishkek local council.
In those cases coronavirus was transmitted from parents, Head of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Department Kuban Kundashev said.
"In one case a mother of a school student had coronavirus infection and she sent her child to school on January 18. In another case a student contracted coronavirus infection from gransmother, who had a positive test for COVID-19," Kuban Kundashev said.
Students of grades 1, 5, 9 and 11 resumed offline classes at schools in Bishkek since January 18.
