Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan agreed on building memorials to outstanding Kyrgyz and Kazakh people

AKIPRESS.COM - The presidents of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan emphasized the importance of agreements to establish monuments to Manas and Chingiz Aitmatov in Nur-Sultan city and Abai Kunanbayev in Bishkek in the near future.
This is stated in a joint statement adopted today by Kazakh president Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Kyrgyz president Sadyr Japarov.
The meeting of the two presidents was held on March 2 in the city of Nur-Sultan during the state visit of Sadyr Japarov to Kazakhstan.
