Turkmenistan eases visa requirements for staff of UN agencies

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov simplified visa requirements for staff of UN agencies having signed the respective order, local media reported. Since March 2, 2021, foreign nationals having UN passports may stay for a period of 30 days without visa in Turkmensitan.
Visa requirements will be waived for foreign nationals, who are workers of UN agencies or its structures accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, their family members.
The simplified visa requirements for workers of Un agencies is aimed to further expand relations between Turkmenistan and UN agencies, according to the executive order.
