Ambassador of Kazakhstan receives shot of Chinese-Uzbek coronavirus vaccine in Tashkent

AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Darkhan Satibaldi and 2 staff members of the Embassy of Kazakhstan received the first shot with Chinese-Uzbek coronavirus vaccine ZF-UZ-VAC2001. Advanced Technologies Center Deputy Director Dilbar Dolimova said ZF-UZ-VAC2001 is recombinant coronavirus vaccine.
The vaccine may be stored in regular fridge at 2-8° temperature.
Ambassador Darkhan Satibaldi congratulated with successful trial of the new recombinant vaccine ZF-UZ-VAC2001 created by the scholars of China and Uzbekistan.
The Ambassador said the process of vaccination in Uzbekistan is widely covered in media of Kazakhstan.
The Ambassador said he would submit a proposal on discussion of supply of the Chinese-Uzbek vaccine to Kazakhstan.
6,836 volunteers receveived the first dose of the vaccine; 4,453 volunteers received two shots and 283 volunteers received 3rd shot of the vaccine.
Just 0.01% of volunteers participating in the trial had minor side effects - allergic reaction.
