AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on March 2 in Moscow as part of his working visit.
Foreign Minister Kamilov passed invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Russian side to attend the High-Level International Conference on Central and South Asia: Regional Connection that will be held in Tashkent this year.
The Foreign Ministers discussed current bilateral cooperation and its prospects, progress of implementation of the earlier reached agreements, the schedule of upcoming top- and high-level events.
Resumption of regular flights between Uzbekistan and Russia, possible lift of entry restrictions for nationals of Uzbekistan was discussed among other issues.
A special attention was paid to situation in Afghanistan, actions undertaken to support intra-Afghan talks, implementation of transport and communication projects.
