AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov met with Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov on March 5, local media reported. Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov suggested to consider possibility of opening of universities of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan, to start exchange of experience between presidential schools of two countries and to bolster cooperation in education sector on the whole.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan for hospitality and invited the Uzbek side to make a return visit to Kazakhstan.
The delegation of Kazakhstan led by Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov arrived in Uzbekistan on two-day visit.
Deputy Prime Minister Yeraly Tugzhanov and Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Bekhzod Musaev earlier discussed the current epidemiological situation in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, further actions in response to coronavirus pandemic.
The Health Ministries of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan signed the agreement of cooperation.
