How do women and men of Kyrgyzstan spend their time?

AKIPRESS.COM - Men work 5 hours more than women on average per week, according to the publication "Women and Men of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2015-2019" by the National Statistics Committee. The difference originates from the rural areas, where men work 38 hours per week and women 30 hours per week.
In urban areas the difference is almost non-existent: men work 43 hours per week, and women 41 hours per week.
However, women spend much more time on unpaid housework: in cities, men spend 1 hour a day on housework, while women spend 3.5 hours. In rural areas, men do housework for 1.5 hours a day and women do it for 5 hours.
