First batch of AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine arrives in Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - The first batch of 192,000 doses of AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine arrived in Dushanbe from Delhi on March 8, the Ministry of Health reported. The rest doses of the vaccine are expected to arrive in the nearest time.
Tajikistan received AstraZeneca vaccines through COVAX program.
Vulnerable groups of population will be vaccinated first, including medical workers, citizens above 60 years, people with chronic non-communicable diseases, teachers.
