Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan discuss upcoming border delimitation talks

AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev today had a phone conversation with Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin.
The Foreign Ministers discussed the upcoming talks of the governmental delegations on Kyrgyz-Tajik border delimitation and demarcation scheduled for March 16 in Guliston, Sughd region of Tajikistan. The countries will continue work on delimitation of remaining undefined border sections.
Importance of the upcoming 17th meeting of the intergovernmental commission for comprehensive consideration of bilateral issues was emphasized.
The Ministers agreed to hold consultations between the Foreign Ministries at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers as foreseen by the cooperation program for 2021-2022.
Minister Mukhriddin invited Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev to attend the 9th Ministerial Conference on Afghanistan set for March 30 in Dushanbe.
