Bishkek to host solemn concert dedicated to Kazakh poet Abay Kunanbayev

AKIPRESS.COM - A concert dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Kazakh poet, thinker, enlightener, and public figure Abay Kunanbayev will be held in the Kyrgyz National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after Abdylas Maldybayev at 18:30 on March 10, the press service of the Ministry of Culture said.
The event will be attended by the Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan Aktoty Raimkulova and Deputy Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Olimjon Mirzaev.
Artists from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Turkmenistan will perform in the concert.
