121 coronavirus cases registered among prisoners in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - 121 coronavirus cases were registered among prisoners in Kyrgyzstan as of March 9, State Penitentiary Service Medical Service Cheif Nazgul Saltybekova said.
They included 17 PCR confirmed coronavirus cases, 104 clinically confirmed coronavirus pneumonia cases, she said.
Nazgul Saltybekov cited the figures on deaths among prisoners.
65 died in 2018, 3 of them died of pneumonia. 54 died in 2019, 2 of them from pneumonia. 51 prisoners died in 2020, 8 of them died from pneumonia.
