AKIPRESS.COM - Some 344,000 citizens of Kyrgyzstan have not registered their biometric information, State Registration Service Vice Chairperson Ainura Tuibaeva said.
She reminded citizens need to register biometric information for obtaining passports and for voting in elections.
Kyrgyzstan uses biometric voter identification during voting, making it impossible for citizens who have not registered their biometric information to vote.
Biometric information is registered in Kyrgyzstan when applying for passports since 2017.
