28,249 more people received first dose of COVID-19 vaccines in Mongolia

AKIPRESS.COM - 28,249 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccines, including AstraZeneca and Sputnik-V, in Mongolia on March 13-14, said O.Dashpagma, Director of the Vaccination Department of the National Center for Communicable Diseases.
This figure takes the total number of people to be partially vaccinated against the coronavirus to over 112,000, Montsame reports.
On March 15, more than 560 healthcare workers are working at 40 locations around Ulaanbaatar to vaccinate 15,374 more people against COVID-19. The people to be partially vaccinated this week include employees of essential organizations and businesses and elders aged 60-65.
In order to accelerate the vaccination program in the country, which was launched on February 23, around 10,000-15,000 people are being vaccinated in a day.
