Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan reach agreement on construction of logistical center in Ala-Buka

AKIPRESS.COM - Jalal-Abad region of Kyrgyzstan and Namangan region of Uzbekistan reached agreement on expansion of commercial and economic cooperation. The roadmap for development of multifaceted cooperation has been prepared. The governors of two regions signed the agreement on development of commercial and economic relations, cooperation in processing industry, production, socio-cultural relations, sport.
"The sides are holding virtual talks now. In accordance with the reached bilateral agreements, preparation for construction of the logistical center has started in Shamaldy-Sai village and Ak-Korgon rural municipality of Ala-Buka district. This location was chose since this is a border area.
Construction of the logistical center will consist of three stages. Entrepreneurs will finance the first stage of construction. The rest two stages will be supported by the Kyrgyz-Uzbek Development Fund.
The logistical center will occupy 10 ha area. It will have storage facilities for agricultural products, slaughter houses, workshops for processing of meat, wool and animal skin.
