Footwear imports decreased 17.3 times in January

AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign trade turnover of the Kyrgyz Republic in January 2021 decreased by 27.5% compared to January 2020. Imports decreased by 32.1% from a year earlier and amounted to $254.9 million.
Overall decline in imports was due to a 17.3-fold decrease in import of footwear, 7.1-fold decrease of import of vegetables and root vegetables, 1.5-fold - fruits and nuts, 1.5-fold - wood and wood products, and 36.4% decline of import of plastics and plastic products.
