Nur-Sultan and Almaty still in red zone for coronavirus cases

AKIPRESS.COM - Two biggest cities in Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan and Almaty, remain in the red zone due to rising coronavirus cases.
Red zone means broader-scale actions and restrictions across multiple sectors to control the spread.
Akmola, Almaty, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan, and Karaganda regions are in the yellow zone.
The rest of the regions remain in the green zone.
Kazakhstan registered 1,186 new cases of the coronavirus infection bringing the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 227,953 since the start of the pandemic.
