China ready to develop cooperation with Turkmenistan in gas sector

AKIPRESS.COM - Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed readiness to develop cooperation with Turkmenistan in natural gas sector, Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported.
Such statement was made by the Chinese President in congratulations sent to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on occasion of Nowruz Holiday.
"Chinese side is ready to continue developing cooperation with Turkmenistan in natural gas sector, to actively broaden cooperation in other sectors," Xi Jinping said.
Xi Jinping said he is ready to advance strategic partnership to a higher level for the benefit of two nations.
Turkmenistan started gas export to China in 2009. Turkmenistan is on the first place in natural gas exports to China. Russia is on the second place, Kazakhstan is on the third place.
