Kyrgyzstan receives conclusion of WHO experts on AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan has received conclusion of the WHO global group of experts on March 22, National Immunization Center Director Gulbara Ishenapysova said.
She said the WHO expert group suggests use of AstraZeneca vaccine.
"Reports spread across social media on March 12 saying some European countries suspended use of AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine, since trombosis cases were registered. On March 22, Kyrgyzstan received the conclusion of the WHO experts on AstraZeneca vaccine. Experts said advers effects could be caused by concurrent diseases," she said.
The Mininistry of Health will continue studying this issue," Gulbara Ishenapysova said.
20% of population or 1.3 million people will be vaccinated through COVAX program.
