Majority of flu and pneumonia cases were among children in Kara-Kul town of Jalal-Abad

AKIPRESS.COM - 22 flu patients sought medical care in Kara-Kul town of Jalal-Abad region in January and 38 in February, most of whom were schoolchildren, the general practitioner center said.
On March 10, schools started mandatory X-ray examinations of the 9-10-11th graders due to COVID-19.
In February, 13 people were treated from pneumonia, 11 of whom were 1-2-year-old children.
To date, 115 people turned to hospitals with flu and pneumonia, 5 of whom were hospitalized. 3 of them are under the age of 6 and have flu, 1 patient with pneumonia is also a child under the age of 6.
The rest have recovered and have been sent home.
