Jumping of young woman from cliff to death in Osh caught on camera

AKIPRESS.COM - A young woman jumped from the cliff into a canyon in Kara-Suu district of Osh region to death.
The accident occurred on March 25 at the bungy jumping site, the Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed.
The body of the young woman born in 1995 was found in the Ak-Buura river.
The accident was caught on camera. The footage shows a girl standing on the structure with a man near her. Reportedly, he tried to talk her out of jumping.
The reasons for jumping are not known yet.
Osh region police said criminal probe into pushing to suicide was launched. The woman, 26, was a Russian citizen born in Kyrgyzstan. She arrived to Osh from Russia on March 24. According to preliminary report, the day before the tragedy, she had a fight with her boyfriend.
Young men who were on vacation at the scene spotted her trying to commit suicide. They tried to persuade her not to jump off, but failed, police said.
