Mongolia's coronavirus count is 14 times less than in Kyrgyzstan, has three times more vaccines

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan is to start first stage of vaccination against coronavirus with the Chinese SinoPharm vaccine on March 29. Health workers, school staff members, policemen will be vaccinated in the first place on a voluntary basis.
Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan started vaccination campaigns back in February with Sputnik V (Russia), AstraZeneca (Great Britain), and Pfizer (USA-Germany) vaccines.
Vaccination has also begun in East Asia. In mid-February, North Korea, which reported zero cases of coronavirus, said it would receive 2 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine. Vaccination also started in Mongolia.
Mongolia launched vaccination campaign on February 23. Mongolia is considered one of the countries that has been successfully coping with the pandemic locally.
Compared to Kyrgyzstan, the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Mongolia is 14 times less, with only 5 deaths from COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.
4,030,560 doses are needed to vaccinate the entire adult population of Mongolia and 509,074 doses of vaccine (4 vaccines from different pharmaceutical companies) have been brought to the country so far.
According to Mongolian authorities, the country will get more than 1.5 million doses of vaccines in April: AstraZene?a - 300,000 doses in early April, AstraZene?a - 97,600 doses in late April, SinoPharm - 900,000 doses in April, Sputnik V - 300,000 doses in early April.
