Kyrgyzstan completes second stage of seroprevalence study of SARS-CoV-2-specific antibodies

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan completed the second stage of seroprevalence study of SARS-CoV-2-specific antibodies, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development Uluk-Bek Bekturganov said on March 29.
Around 5,000 people were tested during this study, the Deputy Health Minister said.
"The study was conducted in all regions of the country. The results will be ready before April 15," he said.
The first stage of this study was conducted in Kyrgyzstan from July to October 2020 with technical support of WHO Country Office. 4,691 people were tested during this stage of study.
The results of the first stage of the study found that 30.8% of citizens had SARS-CoV-2-specific antibodies by early August.
