Kyrgyz Health Minister does not link death of diplomat with coronavirus vaccination

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Health and Social Development Alymkadyr Beishenaliev has not confirmed that Deputy Director of Foreign Ministry's Consular Service Department Bakhtiyar Shakirov received a dose of coronavirus vaccine.
The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia said yesterday the Deputy Director of the Consular Service Department passed away, but did not specify the cause of death.
"We know the name of each vaccinated person. They all are medical workers. We have not started vaccination of workers of other organizations yet," Health Minister Beishenaliev told Birinchi Radio.
Media expert in health care sector Elena Bayalinova reported with reference to Shakirov's relatives that he was one of the first in the country who received Sinopharm coronavirus vaccine.
