Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov promises support to students from Turkmenistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov promised to provide support to students from Turkmenistan studying in Russia at the meeting with Deputy Prime Miniters of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Serdar Berdimuhamedov on April 1 in Moscow.
"The number of students from Turkmenistan is growing yearly. We will make all possible efforts so that they will continue studying remotely amid halted regular flights," Minister Lavrov said.
The visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan to Russia started on March 30. Serdar Berdimuhamedov is the only sone of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is visiting Moscow in capacity of Deputy Prime Minister for the first time.
The Turkmen delegation earlier met with Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk, leadership of the Ministry of Health and Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, top managers of Sberbank, Gazprom, Lukoil, Kamaz.
