China hands over humanitarian aid worth around $750,000 to Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The ceremony of handover of humanitarian aid of the government of China in response to COVID-19 was held in the Ministry of Health and Social Development on April 1.
The event was attended by Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev and Ambassador of China Du Dewen.
The handed over aid included disposable medical protective clothing, gloves, masks, face shields, shoe covers, gowns, disposable medical caps, life saving ventilators, real-time PCR system, nucleic acid extraction system valued at more than 63 million soms (around $750,000).
Health Minister Beishenaliev noted contribution of the government of China in Kyrgyzstan's efforts in response to COVID-19 and thanked for maintenance of Kyrgyz-Chinese strategic partnership on a high level and commitment to elimination of coronavirus infection.
