Kazakhstan permits transit for citizens of Kyrgyzstan - Japarov

AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan permitted transit through its territory for citizens of Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan is awaiting the same permission from Russia now, President Sadyr Japarov said on his social media page.
Kyrgyzstan is awaiting a reply from Russia on permission for crossing of the Russian-Kazakh border for nationals of Kyrgyzstan, he said.
He said the Kyrgyz authorities are working on increase of regular flights to Russia.
The President asked to disregard rumors alleging Kyrgyzstan opposes increase of flights to Russia.
"On the contrary, we ask Russia to increase the number of regular flights. The problem is not with us. All problems are linked with coronavirus pandemic," Japarov said.
