President Japarov attends final phase of military exercises in Batken region

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sadyr Japarov visited Buzhum military training ground in Batken region and watched the final phase of united command and mobilization exercises Safety 2021 and South 2021.
The exercises were held from April 1-3 in Batken, Osh, Jalal-Abad regions.
Over 2,000 servicemen, around 100 vehicles, armored vehicles, 20 artillery systems, 10 planes were involved into the exercises.
Such exercises are held by the Defense Ministry every year in different parts of the country.
Upon conclusion of exercises, President Sadyr Japarov delivered speech. He awarded Maj. Gen. shoulder boards to Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces Erlis Terdikbaev, the certificate of Class 1 state advisor of civil service to Batken region governor Omurbek Suvanaliev, certificate of class 2 state advisor of civil service to Security Council Secretary Riskeldi Musaev.
Several servicemen received watches and letters of appreciation from the President.
Japarov handed in the certificate for 600,000 soms allocated from the Presidnet's reserve fund to the military unit 30-630 of the Defense Ministry.
Defense Attaches of Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Tajikistan, UK and Pakistan were invited for the event.
President Japarov was familiarized with military equipment, uniform, visited the military hospital and talked to servicement of the reserve squad of Batken district.
Japarov had lunch in the field kitchen with servicemen, asked about conditions of their service and answered their questions.
