AKIPRESS.COM - Covid-19 transmission rate is growing in Bishkek, Bishkek Public Health Department Chief Bakytbubu Shamyrkanova told a press briefing today.
123 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in the capital for the past day. This is 71.5% of all cases confirmed throughout the country.
111 are PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and 12 are coronavirus pneumonia cases.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases since start of the year reached 3,648.
1,497 people remain in self-isolation at home. 472 of them have positive PCR tests results for coronavirus infection.
13 mobile medical teams operate in the city. They respond to calls of suspected coronavirus cases, taking samples at home and providing medical consultations.
