AKIPRESS.COM - A Turkish delegation led by Deputy Minister of Trade Gonca Yilmaz Batur arrived in Uzbekistan on a two-day visit, UzA reported. The talks on the terms of signing the Agreement on Preferential Trade between Uzbekistan and Turkey will be held in Tashkent.
The negotiating group from the Uzbek side is led by Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Badriddin Abidov.
The agreement is being prepared to create favorable conditions in mutual trade and set benefits for the payment of import customs duties.
This instrument is considered by the parties as the most effective for achieving the goal of boosting bilateral trade to $5 billion very soon.
