AKIPRESS.COM - A 36-year-old man abducted a 27-year-old woman, Aizada Kanatbekova, in the morning of April 5 in Bishkek for marriage. Both were found dead inside the car 2 days later. The woman was stangled. The abductor stabbed himself to death.
The police received a report about abduction of the young woman from her mother on April 5. The woman said her daughter was bridenapped at around 8.00 a.m. on April 5 while she was going to her work place. The girl was forcibly taken into the car. The car plate numbers were reported to police.
The police located the owner of the vehicle. A resident of Kara-Balta town told police he gave his car to another man, who said his elder brother T.Z. was using a car as taxi driver.
The police established T.Z., 36, was abuctor of the woman. He and his friends abducted the young woman on April 5.
The mother told police she managed to talk to her daughter at around 7.00 p.m. of April 5. The daughter said she would could home soon. At 2.00 a.m. of April 6 the mother called the police saying he daughter had not returned. The daughter's phone was turned off after conversation with her mother.
Police established the young woman knew her abductor. They communicated for 4 months. The man came for meetings with her occasionally. Witnesses said T.Z. often talked about his girl friend and planned to get married with her.
The young men were found on April 7. The shepherd reported to police about the car found between Arashan and Chon-Tash villages with dead bodies of a woman and a man inside. The police found the body of 27-year-old Aizada Kanatbekova with signs of violent death preliminarily from strangulation and the body of 36-year-old T.Z. with knife wounds in his neck in the car.
The shephed said he saw this car on April 5 and 6, but did not pay much attention. He thought the car just was stuck in dirt. He came close to the car on April 7 only and saw the dead bodies of the woman and the men.
According to preliminary version, during the fight the man strangled the woman and then stabbed with knife himself to death.
One of the suspects of bridenapping was detained. A man was taken to the temporary detention facility.
Police located other accessories to the crime and put them on wanted list.
Abduction leading to murder of Aizada Kanatbekova sparked public outrcy. Rally is planned at 12.00 outside the Interior Ministry today in Bishkek in connection with the young woman's abduction and murder.
