Export-Import Bank of Hungary ready to provide $30 million to Tajikistan for launch of production ventures

AKIPRESS.COM - Export-Import Bank of Hungary is ready to provide $30 million quota for Tajikistan to finance launch of production ventures and foreign trade transactions, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto said at the meeting with Tajik Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda.
Creation of joint ventures for textile production, processing of agricultural products, production of medications in free economic zones in Tajikistan was discussed at the meeting, Avesta reported.
The sides exchanged views on possible further cooperation and welcomed creation of the joint commission for commercial and economic cooperation.
The sides vowed to expand bilateral cooperation in various economic areas.
Bilateral trade for the two months of this year amounted to $5,200. The trade in 2020 neared $1.5 million.
