Ex-President Roza Otunbaeva gets first shot of Sinopharm coronavirus vaccine

AKIPRESS.COM - Ex-President Roza Otunbaeva received the first dose of Sinopharm coronavirus vaccine on April 10 in the vaccination point in the outpatient clinic #7. Around 1,900 received the first shot of the vaccine as of April 11.
Ex-President Otunbaeva was the only person who came for vaccination on that day. She expressed regret over slow pace of vaccination of population in Kyrgyzstan.
Health workers said around 30 people a day come for vaccination.
Otunbaeva urged people in Kyrgyzstan to take more active part in vaccination and recommended the Ministry of Health to increase communication efforts.
