AKIPRESS.COM - Ministry of Foreign Affairs proposes visa waiver for nationals of 9 countries, including Albania, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Cyprus, Macedonia, Mexico, Thailand, Romania, Israel to develop tourism. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Azizbek Madmarov presented draft amendments to the law of Kyrgyzstan on introducing visa-free regime for citizens of some countries for up to 60 days.
The purpose of the bill is to develop tourism and investment climate in Kyrgyzstan.
Kyrgyzstan needs investment and the development of the tourism industry, he said.
The visa-free regime is introduced unilaterally.
