Kyrgyzstan registers Covid-19 reinfections - Health Minister

AKIPRESS.COM - Surge in coronavirus cases is observed in all regions of Kyrgyzstan after elections, Minister of Health and Social Development Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told a press conference on April 16.
The Health Minister said nobody follows recommendations of health professionals.
"All forgot about sanitary requirements: wearing masks, keeping safe distance, using antiseptics. Coronavirus cases are growing daily. We registered 50-60 daily cases 2-2.5 months ago with no cases registered in Batken, Naryn, Talas. Yesterday were registered 305 cases. All regions see surge in coronavirus cases," the Health Minister sad.
The Health Minister said Covid-19 reinfections were registered.
"I visited Covid-19 red zone and talked to each patient. They said they already had coronavirus infection in summer 2020," the Health Minister said.
The Health Minister suggested Covid-19 antibodies last from 8 months to a year.
He ruled out possibility of declaration of lockdown to avoid negative effects for national economy.
