AKIPRESS.COM - More than 50 medical workers rallied in front of the Parliament building in Bishkek on April 16.
They said they came for a protest action from Chui region and Bishkek.
The medical workers said they did not receive compensations yet foreseen for medical workers who contracted coronavirus infection at work.
They also demand to increase their salaries.
Similar actions are planned in other regions of the country, Nuraly Aidarov, lawyer in health care sector, said.
The medical workers then headed to the Government House and asked government officials supervising health care sector to listen their demands.
Representative of the Government's Executive Office met with protesters. He said First Deputy Prime Minister Artem Novikov would receive them. 10 of protesters entered the Government House for a meeting with Novikov.
