Disciplinary commission gave green light to hold 2 judges criminally responsible in 2020

AKIPRESS.COM - The disciplinary commission received 35 requests for consent to hold judges accountable in 2020, Prosecutor General Kurmankul Zulushev said a the meeting of parliament committees considering his report for 2020. Courts allowed violations of the law in handling cases, which became the reason for the growth in number of such requests to the disciplinary commission, he explained.
Consent was given to bring 2 judges to criminal responsibility and bring 6 judges to disciplinary responsibility.
12 proposals were rejected, 15 proposals are under consideration.
