Mongolia receives 50,400 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine via COVAX Facility

AKIPRESS.COM - Mongolia received the next batch of 50,400 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine according to the vaccine distribution schedule via the COVAX Facility, Montsame reports. The vaccine was brought by a charter flight in route of Seoul-Ulaanbaatar and the plane was landed at around 21 p.m., yesterday at Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport in Ulaanbaatar.
Furthermore, talks on purchase of Verocell vaccine from Sinopharm Company of China is underway and 900,000 doses of vaccine will be brought in Mongolia soon.
