Blogger shooting videos of armed robberies as pranks detained

AKIPRESS.COM - A young man carrying a weapon was detained by police, the Interior Ministry said on April 28.
The detainee posted videos of himself shooting with a Kalashnikov weapon and a gun on social media. On some of his videos, he wore a black mask and staged robberies "as a prank".
Criminal probe into illegal bearing of arms and ammunition was launched.
Police detained him on his Infiniti car with the license plate 01KG TILEK. During the inspection of his car, the police found a Makarov pistol of 10 mm caliber and 37 ammunition. All of this belonged to citizen detainee born in 1993. The permit for weapons was issued by the Bishkek City Department of Internal Affairs for 3 years.
Police also searched the detainee's place of residence and found a Kalashnikov rifle VPO 825 and 120 pieces of gas-ignition ammunition in his bedroom.
The detainee said that the Kalashnikov assault rifle was purchased in Russia. He said he is a blogger and shoots pranks with a gun, and posts videos on social networking sites.
Examinations were appointed for the seized weapons and ammunition, after that a legal assessment will be given to the detainee. An investigation is underway. Prankster was released on his pledge to appear.
