Two teams of doctors dispatched from Jalal-Abad to Batken conflict zone

AKIPRESS.COM - Two teams of doctors were dispatched from the Jalal-Abad region to the Batken region on the night of April 29-30, deputy governor of Jalal-Abad Yrysbek Yzabekov said. 5 doctors from the Jalal-Abad regional united hospital and 4 doctors from Suzak territorial hospital went to Batken.
Two brigades took off in ambulance cars. They include a surgeon, a trauma surgeon, an intensive care physician and a neurosurgeon.
More doctors will head to the conflict zone if needed, Yzabekov said.
As of 7 a.m. April 30, 124 people were injured in armed clashes on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border. 13 people were killed.
